Kia's first product in the market, the SUV with looks plus power plus sportiness plus offroad capability plus features. 

Its interior is nice, airy and comfortable. It is available in both fuels and in both transmissions and CVT is also there and BS6 emission norm.

This Kia starts with 9.89 lakhs and the top end of Seltos cost 17.34 lakhs. 

Seltos is available in 16 variants and this variant list is decorated by 8 petrol variants and 8 diesel, meanwhile it have both transmission option, 3 engine options and BS6 emission norm.

Seltos Engine, Power and Performance 

There are three engines on offer two petrol and two diesel, with manual, automatic and CVT transmission.

Ok, the petrol, 1497cc 4-cylinder inline SMARTSTREAM G 1.5 petrol engine, responsible for production of 114bhp of power at 6300rpm and the torque figure is 144Nm at 4500rpm, FWD, turbocharged, 6 gear manual and 6-speed automatic transmission. 
This engine lives in HTE, HTK, HTX petrol, in which only HTX CVT 1.5 (13.34 lakhs) have CVT transmission.

While the another petrol engine is powered by 1353cc 4-cylinder inline SMARTSTREAM G 1.4 T-GDI petrol engine this one produces 138bhp of power at 6000rpm and torque of 243Nm at 1500rpm.
Fitted in all GTX petrol variants, GTX Plus AT 1.4 (17.29 lakhs) is automatic.

Meanwhile the diesel variants have 1493cc 4-cylinder inline 1.5 CRDi VGT diesel engine it gives 114bhp of power ar 4000rpm and 250 Nm of torque at 1500rpm.

Mileage and Fuel Tank

All variants have same fuel tank of 50L but the diesel manual gives 20 kmpl and automatic gives 18 kmpl.

Petrol (1497cc) gives 16.8 kmpl manual and 16.5 kmpl automatic. 
Petrol (1353cc) gives 16.1 kmpl manual and 16.5 kmpl automatic.

Exterior 

The car looks great indeed and it justify it tag line "Badass by Design" pretty greatly, look cool, stylish and aggressive.

Front face
Most adorbale thing of its face is uts headlamps, they have amazing charm. The headlamp get four powerful LED pieces which make it more attractive and cool.
Just below headlights there are blinkers and they are also LED and design is just great. The fog lamps are very attractive too and they are also LED.

The face of Seltos is very attractive and very adventurous too. On front it get signature Kia huge tiger grill which makes it more hungry for offroad and for attention.
Bumper is also participating in enhancing the looks of the car.

Side profile 
The length is nice height is good but the thing which is mist important is ground clearance it have great clearance to conquer offroad conditions.
The windows are big which draw big amount of light inside Seltos. Alloy wheel are fabulous, 215 / 60 R17.

Back side
Back face of the car is finished with dual exhaust and big diffuser and big rear wind screen with rear wiper. Back look quite good and sporty.
Coming to tail lights, again design mind boggling, Kia played with LEDs amazingly. 

Interior

The cabin of the car is gilded with amazing features, high quality seats, dual tone dashboard, three spoke steering wheel and beautiful infotainment screen. 
The dual tone dashboard make the cabin more premium and luxurious and also increase the richness of the cockpit.

The instrument cluster is very sporty and add more sportiness in your journey. Big infotainment screen provides your wide range of features. 

Seats are extremely comfortable and very luxurious. Rear seat have good amount of leg room, knee room and head room, under thigh support is also great.
