What a Swag in this subcompact. All new Renault Kwid | Carzz

Renault had a launch event in which they launched the all new Kwid with new style, new swag and few new changes. The facelify version looks more aggressive and more stylish although Renault doesn't changed much but car look fresh.

Kwid's Exterior 

We all are well introduced by the old Kwid because it freaking four years of relation with Kwid and this facelift avtar of Kwid do not contain much changes. Most of the changes you can see on the face of this car like the grill has been changed this time grill gives it very boxy nature. The best change I think is headlamp  setup, it have horizontal lines of DRL which look stunning and few centimeter down from DRLs we get the main headlights which are halogen and the orange work around the headlight lokks great gives very stylish appearance and the trun indicators are sharing place with DRLs. Here comes the cost cutting, the single wiper  which we have also seenon the previous gen. The ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrrors) are painted in orange which look so cool but not so big.

From the side no changes are there but the new kwid is slightly longer than its fore fathers (old Kwid),

So, here you can see the increasement in length, height and in ground clearance.
Tyres are very small in this vehicle 155/80 R13, Honda activa run on 12inchers not a comparison just talking about activa's tyre size. It comes with roof rail with little bit orange colour touches which make it sporty.
Now finally the back side of the car, so almost zero changes Renault made here, LED tail lamps looks good, no rear wiper in this price range we don't expect that, the most impressive thing of Renault is the placement of parking camera, between the Renault logo.

Kwid's Interior

The cabin of this car is very impressive firstly let's tailk about the instrument cluster is very attractive and very sporty and  this time Renault implemented tachometer which look soooo cool and the way all elements put together is phenomenal. The big infotainment screen is loaded with Apple car play, Android Auto connect and it is one inche bigger than the old one, the new kwid is equipped with 8 inch and the old one had 7 inch screen.

Seats are comfortable but nit adjustable headrest. Rear seats have ok ok amount of leg room, knee room, head room and under thigh support, taller people,  may be face some struggle. The three spoke steering wheel looks good, overall cabin cabin is good for this price.

Kwid's Engine

The top variant of Kwid the climber 1.0 AMT have 999cc 3 cylinder 1.0L petrol engine which gives you 67 bhp of power at 5500rpm and 91Nm of peak torque at 4250rpm and  it is Front Wheel Drive (FWD) it cost around 5.02 lakhs. 

The starting model STD comes with 799cc petrol engine, manual transmission it cost around 2.93lakhs.
