With few changes Macan is back in the game | Carzz

Recently Porsche has launched the new powerful piece of machine and this machine is not new to this planet because the year  2014 was filled by its powerful and loving sound, this was known by the name Macan. Macan is a bold SUV, bold in the sense of looks and performance. 2014 was the year of Porsche Macan because 3 to 4 lakhs units were sold worldwide but unfortunately the Macan's magic was failed in India because it was too costly, it was more pricey than  well known Porsche creation,  the Porsche Cayenne.

Exterior

So, the Macan look absolutely awesome and the presence on the road is killing. How Porsche do that?  how can they make such a bold, aggressive and sexy cars....how? 

Let's start scanning this gem from front.  The front is boxy and appealing and stands out in crowd. It has same grill which was in 2014 model no change on that but the interesting thing is that, the grill is so sporty and won't feel like this is an out dated design, it feel so fresh and amazing. The air vents are huge and perfectly draw air to engine.

It comes with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), the headlamps have that signature Porsche design/shape.

Now the fruit of question is hard to digest and the question is, what is PDLS? 

So, basically the PDLS is a system which controls the range of the beam according to the vehicles' speed and the main headlight element turns to the middle of the road while taking a turn.

The side face of the car is great, wheels are big and length is good but side face little bit reminds me the Audi Q3. Ground clearance is very impressive and why not after all its an SUV, public......! It means offroading will be a fun don't care about anything. 

On the back you can actually see the changes clearly, now it won't have that boring tail light as it had earlier. This facelift version get LED tail lights which are connected by the fine light line on the boot and make it stylish too. Quad exhaust works as a sportiness enhancer.

Interior

First of all it is Porsche so the amenities and features are phenomenal.  The dashboard is finished in dual tone, the most attractive thing I found in Macan's cabin is that small analog watch, it gives you a feeling of Porsche's tradition and richness.
Meanwhile,  seats are commodious and restful, get five adjustable headrest and beautiful stitching.

Coming back to dashboard, every thing is very well packed, the steering feel nice to hold and crisp at the same time.
Instrument cluster is nice and sporty in which on the middle it get analog tachometer which small digital speedometer and gear postion display. On extreme left it have analog speedometer with small trip and odometer.

On very right there is digital MID with necessary car details.
Gear lever is surrounded by big family of buttons, Macan has a 10.9inch infotainment system which soaked in features including apple car play, android auto connect, 360 camera view and many more........

Variants,  price, engine and power

Porsche offers two variants the Base and the top trim S variant. 

Base variant lives with 4 -inline cylinder and the capacity of combustion chamber is 1984 cubic centimeter (cc) by this you can enjoy 248bhp of max power at 5000rpm and 370Nm of max torque at 1600rpm and it will wipe out 69.98 lakhs (price) from your bank account #automatic transmission, #turbocharged. 

The top trim S also has the same 4-cylinder as in the Base variant but the size of a combustion chamber is bigger than Base, 2995cc and the result of power is 349bhp of max power at 5400rpm and 480Nm of torque at 1360rpm and the price is 85.03lakhs #automatic transmission,  #turbocharged.
